Cultivation 101

Please join us for SMART’s second meeting of the semester!
This meeting, we’re going to have a guest speaker come in and talk with the group. Doug Rhodes is working in the cannabis industry, specifically in cultivation, in Massachusetts. Doug has an impressive background navigating the waters of legal cannabis and cultivation. Right now, he is working with a team to open a 78,000 square foot marijuana cultivation and processing facility in MA. Doug has been the mastermind behind opening similar facilities, and he has also been involved in Hemp farming in South Carolina. He will be talking about his experience as a cannabis grower, as an entrepreneur, and also about navigating the complex regulatory landscape in Massachusetts. We’ll definitely be leaving room at the end for questions!
