Philadelphia Black Journalists Association: More Than Just Green

The Philadelphia Association of Black Journalists (PABJ), the oldest association for black journalists in the country, is convening a day-long educational conference to elevate the region’s understanding of cannabis, its connection to the media and the criminal justice system and current legalization efforts happening across our state.

The event is assembling community members, experts, lawmakers and media professionals together to learn how we can better educate the public on the state of cannabis legalization and address the stigmas enforced from decades of of misinformation — information which has led to the marginalization, incrimination and disenfranchisement of communities of color.

 We look forward to offering a space for honest, transparent and productive conversations as we underscore the need for more media coverage on this important issue. Join us, and get ready to learn.
